Crafts at the Crescent

I am ridiculously excited (and just a little scared) about the news that I'm going to be leading some craft classes during the summer at the Crescent Arts Centre in Belfast.

Classes in the pipeline include making cake stands out of vintage china, an origami class, silhouette art and making personalised snow globes with old jam jars. Plus a few more besides.

Crescent Arts is a wonderful art centre which has been feeding the minds of Belfast's citizens
since 1979. It emerged unscathed on the other side of the troubles bigger, better and shinier with a recent big bucks transforation. The building itself has a history going back to 1873 when it was the first purpose-built school for girls in the country.
